Rajma Biryani ( Rice along with kidney beans in a new style )



"Rajma Biryani"



Ingredients 

2 cup Basmati rice
1 cup rajma ( soaked overnight and boiled with salt )
1/2 cup curd
2 onions chopped
1 tomato chopped
2 tbsp Fresh green coriander 
1 dalchini
2 -3 green cardamom 
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 ginger 
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp red chilli powder 
2 green chillies
1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
2 cloves
5-6 garlic cloves 
Salt as per taste 
Oil


Method:

Boil rajma with salt and keep aside . 
Soak rice for 20-30 min

For the paste
Grind together cardamom, ginger , garlic, green chilli ,coriander seeds , red chilli powder , cumin seeds, cloves and keep aside.
In a biryani cooker, take oil, add dalchini, onion and bhuno it. Add the paste along with salt, tomato and turmeric powder. Add rice with 2 cup water. Cover and cook till half done.Add cooked rajma and coriander leaves and again cover and cook till rice is cooked.Open the lid and serve hot.
