Amritsari Bun Chaat

Well we all know that Punjab is a land Of God and also food . North India is extremely popular for its amazing food. Starting from chaat, kulfi, chicken, fish, sweets , lassi and the story will never end. The most famous butter chicken is also an invention from punjab.

The amazing langar served to everyone, anytime you are in any Gurudwara is the most versatile thing, Guru ka Langar.

Not only this , Punjab streets are famous for Parathas. There is a paratha wale Galli in Delhi which is a big foodie destination.

Moving to the land Of Amritsar , where visitors worship Golden Temple .The Guru ka Langar has no words and the Golden Temple is really a place not to miss .

Coming on the streets , gain their is a lot to eat.

This is a very special burger found on the streets of Amritsar, which I believe after seeing no one can resist . It’s yummy , delicious and leaves a taste behind.
So let’s make this from my Gods land.

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Butter
4 burger buns
2 potatoes , boiled
2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
2 tsp Coriander Powder
2 tsp Chaat masala
1 tsp kala namak
Salt to taste
1 medium onion , sliced
2 tsp Garlic chutney
2 tbsp date tamarind chutney
2 tbsp mint- Coriander chutney
1/2 Cup spicy peanuts
2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
1/2 Cup nylon sev
1/2 Cup fresh coriander , finely chopped



Method



Butter the buns and gently toast them on the hot skillet over medium heat .
In a bowl , mix boiled potatoes with the dry spices .
Divide the mixture in to 4 pancakes .
Return to the skillet . Add butter and gently place the patty . Cook on both the sides .
Remove and keep aside .
Assembling :
Place a patty on the bun bottom . Top up with the sliced onion , chutney , spicy peanuts , pomegranate seeds, sev and fresh coriander and serve immediately with the bun top .
